About The Sapphic Latina
A Sapphic Latina Writing Sapphic Latina MC’s
If I’m going to be honest… I’m on a mission. A mission to add to the lack of representation of sapphic Latina MC’s in fiction. To be frank, there is a lack of BIPOC authors, let alone those who are also queer. That’s a problem. But that’s a conversation for another day (~Substack).
I mainly write:
Sapphic/lesbian
Fiction
Romance
Science Fiction
Contemporary
Poetry
As of January 2025 — I am actively working on two WIPs (I have eight). All of which I intend to traditionally publish.
I’m on a journey to read 20+ (queer) books, post 1-8x a month on Substack, query Paola Unraveling, and finish writing Flirting with Astrology for the year of 2025.
Fun Facts?
I’m a 31 year old Mexican-American lesbian
I’m a self-published author of poetry → I’m Still Healing by Koko Escoto
Oh and that’s me :)

About The Journals of a Sapphic Latina
In this publication/newsletter, I will be posting my journal entries. This will essentially be a raw telling of my life via diary entries from different periods of my life. I will post journal entries from recent times as well periodically. But most of these entries will be YEARS old. This publication will also include personal essays.
Enjoy the journey. I hope these entries help someone feel heard, seen and less alone.
Trigger warnings:
Domestic abuse
Mental Health
All names have been changed to preserve the identities of individuals in my journal entries.
